OEM Off-Highway magazine: How Topcon Technologies Help Contractors Pursue New Markets

LIVERMORE, Calif. — September 10, 2026 — Topcon Positioning Systems announces Delta Watch powered by GEOvis, a cloud-based workflow platform that brings advanced visualization, reporting, alarms, project administration, stakeholder communication, and geodetic network adjustment into the Delta Solutions deformation monitoring system.

As part of the Dubai Metro Blue Line expansion, the surveying team led by Murat Pehlivan used advanced 3D laser scanning technology to capture high-accuracy data of existing metro stations and infrastructure. Using the Topcon CR-P1 laser scanner and GT-1200 total station, the team achieved positional accuracy under 5 mm and delivered detailed point clouds to support the design and construction of one of Dubai’s most ambitious transportation projects.

Topcon is expanding its reach in Belgium through a new partnership with Luyckx, a well-established name in the construction equipment market. The collaboration will make it easier for Luyckx customers to access Topcon’s positioning and machine control technologies, helping contractors improve efficiency, accuracy, and productivity on site.
