GIS Cafe' discusses Topnet Live with Ian Stilgoe

Topcon Positioning Systems has announced a new manufacturing facility will be built in Geisenheim, Germany, near Frankfurt, for the company’s Topcon Electronics operation. The announcement was made during a groundbreaking ceremony on April 16. The ceremony coincided with the production milestone of the one-millionth product to come off the line at the company’s current Geisenheim facility, where in-cab displays are made for Topcon’s agriculture and construction solutions portfolios as well as for global OEM customers.

LIVERMORE, Calif. – April 11, 2024 – Topcon Positioning Systems has announced strategic agreements with Bentley Systems and Worldsensing to integrate its advanced GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) technology into the companies’ innovative software and connectivity solutions.

Unlike Florida’s inland regions, its coastal counties are highly susceptible to storm surge from the hurricanes and tropical storms that can batter the region each late summer/early fall. To ensure the safety of residents in these areas, evacuation zones — generally major highway arteries — have been designated, allowing fast, safe movement from areas in harm’s way to a safer locale.
