Visit Topcon at Bauma 2022!
Bringing together technology experts and key industry decision makers from all over the world, Bauma is one of biggest construction events of the year. The Topcon team is at the event in Munich this week showcasing all things earthmoving, road building and paving, building construction, and surveying.
One of the key technologies we will be showcasing is MC-Mobile, the new 3-in-1 solution that brings machine control to compact equipment. Through local positioning system (LPS) functionality, layout can be accomplished with the LN-150 tool for positioning information, a prism and tablet. MC-Mobile allows contractors to seamlessly move from layout to design, with the machine utilizing the same hardware and software solutions. It provides the ability to self-perform construction layout, create designs in the field and build to exact specifications and accuracies. Measurement, design and building with machine control guidance can be accomplished with one system by taking the same tablet display used for measuring, placing it in the cab of the machine, and having a visual to deliver results with unparalleled accuracy.
Our Virtual Ski solution for 3D cold milling machines and an LPS solution for urban environments and bridge decks will be the focus for our paving team at the show. These new solutions will complement the existing road building and paving system offerings for applications such as asphalt, concrete and curb and gutter work, as well as software and web-based services to assist with site management and logistics for projects and fleets.
Plus, on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday we’ll be joined on our stand by racing driver James Roe, who Topcon has been a long-time supporter of, most recently within the European racing programme. Visitors to our stand can meet James and see his racing car in real life.Our construction, surveying, and building construction teams will be talking to visitors about how to improve their project workflows. One key focus will be our recently expanded GNSS network correction service, Topnet Live, which provides reliable and accurate positioning for a wide variety of applications around the globe.
