Rotary lasers, sometimes simply called rotating lasers, are some of the most useful, flexible tools on a jobsite. They increase accuracy in building construction, earthmoving machine control, grade checking, and leveling applications. Rotary lasers are commonly used for grading, asphalt paving, concrete paving, curb and gutter, excavation, site surveying, underground utility, field surveying, layout, floor flatness and levelness, and more.

Pipe lasers are used to align and level pipes during installations of water, sewage, and utility lines. The lasers project a highly visible and accurate red or green beam along the axis of the pipe, ensuring proper alignment, grade, and depth. Known for quality, Topcon was the first to provide green beams and auto alignment. Pipe lasers are commonly used for sewer line installations, trenchless pipe installations, mining, utility pipe installations (gas, water, and telecommunications), stormwater drainage systems, pipeline rehabilitation projects, tunneling and more.

Topcon offers Laser receivers for laser grade control for excavators, bulldozers, graders and compact equipment. These flexible magnetic and screw mounts provide quick setups and easy removal at the end of the day. Adding an optional holder also enables use on a grade rod, increasing the return on a grade checking investment. These are applicable for anything where you can use your rotating laser and provide visual grade control to who is moving or placing material.

Our rotary and pipe lasers are occasionally sold as kits which can include a dry or rechargeable battery. Due to interstate and international shipping constraints, Topcon products do not include alkaline batteries. Types and numbers of alkaline batteries required for each product are clearly indicated as part of the product package and should be purchased locally.
