Software Offline Activation
Like any other Topcon software solution MAGNET Explorer can be activated using two different procedures. Topcon distinguishes between an Online and an Offline activation:
- Online Activation: An internet connection and MAGNET Enterprise Credentials are needed
- Offline Activation: An Activation Code from MAGNET Enterprise is needed
This lesson focuses on performing an Offline Activation.
- On the MAGNET Explorer home screen click on Activate license
- Choose Offline
- Click Next
- Enter your Serial Number
- Specify the Device ID
- Do a right-click on Device ID
- Click Copy
Note:
You can choose between your computer´s device id or the device id from your network card. Both enable the generation of a unique activation code.
- Enter www.topconenterprise.com in your internet browser
- Click on Log in to My Topcon
- The Topcon Account login screen comes up
- Enter your MAGNET Enterprise credentials
- Click SIGN IN
- Once logged in the MAGNET button becomes active
- Click on GET TO WORK!
- Click on Product Registration (bar code symbol)
- Enter MAGNET Explorer Serial number
- Click Verify
- The Devide ID field becomes active
- Right-click and paste the copied Device ID
- Click Activate
- Click Accept to agree with the End user license agreement
- Select the License Key / Activation Code
- Hit CTRL + C to copy it to your clipboard
- Go back to the MAGNET Explorer Product Activation screen
- Paste the Activation Code into the box
- Click Next
- Check the box to accept the terms of the license agreement
- Click I Accept
- The activation was successful
- The License field shows Product is licensed for use
