Map Properties
- To access Map properties, click Map Properties icon on the toolbar
Background tab

The Map Properties dialog contains five tabs:

- Assure you select the tab Background, and click on [...] Background Map
Map background

Map background dialog allows you to manage the predefined and custom WMS map backgrounds. From this menu:
- Enable Custom WMS
- Click Edit
WMS records
- WMS records dialog displays the list of Web Map Services.

The dialog contains the following elements:
- Add — click the button to display the Common Properties dialog.
- Edit — click the button to display the Common Properties dialog for the selected WMS.
- Delete — click the button to delete the selected WMS.
- Clear Cache — click the button to delete the selected WMS's cache memory.
- To create a new WMS, click Add
Common properties
- Common Properties dialog allows you to add or edit the Web Map Service properties.

The dialog contains the following fields:

Title. Type-in the name of the WMS.

URL. Insert the URL of the WMS.

Login. Optional parameter. Type-in the login provided by the WMS administrator.

Password. Optional parameter. Type-in the password provided by the WMS's administrator.

- When all details are correctly edited, click the check mark.
WMS records
- WMS records dialog displays the list of Web Map Services.

The dialog contains the following elements:
- Add — click the button to display the Common Properties dialog.
- Edit — click the button to display the Common Properties dialog for the selected WMS.
- Delete — click the button to delete the selected WMS.
- Clear Cache — click the button to delete the selected WMS's cache memory.
- Once all the editing is complete, click the check mark.
WMS nodes
- Custom WMS map backgrounds are presented as a logical tree. Expand the tree nodes to see the names of the objects (states, rivers, cities, etc.) belonging to the selected layer.

The dialog contains the following elements:

Predefined: check box enables / disables the usage of predefined map backgrounds. Currently there are three predefined map backgrounds:
- Bing™ Hybrid;
- Bing™ Terrain;
- OpenStreetMap (OSM).
- Custom WMS: check box enables / disables the usage of Web Map Services backgrounds
- Edit: Click to open the WMS records dialog in order to add, edit or delete WMS records.

Predefined: check box enables / disables the usage of predefined map backgrounds. Currently there are three predefined map backgrounds:
Map properties
- In the Background Map panel you can select either Bing™ Hybrid, Bing™ Terrain , ©OSM or WMS map type as the background map.
Map view
- The main Map displays the map of the current job, now also including WMS. To move the map display, hold down and slide the stylus on the screen. The Map maintains the scale after changing the status of the main map.
