TRU (Topcon Receiver Utility): Exporting receiver configuration to a JSON file

Connecting to the receiver

Navigate to Device > Application Mode > Receiver Managing.

Click on Device > Connect.

Using the drop-down menu, set the connection method as Bluetooth.

Click on the ellipsis (...).

A window will appear with Bluetooth devices. If your device is not listed, right-click and select Add.

Click on the ellipsis (...) again.

A new window will appear. If you do not see your device listed, right-click and click Refresh.

Once it appears, select your device and click OK until you reach the Connections Parameters page.

Click Connect to connect.

Exporting receiver settings

Once a connection is established, click on Receiver Settings.

Click on Export Settings To File.

Make sure all items are checked.

If you don’t want to export all settings, you can expand the items and disable/enable settings you want exported.

Click on the ellipsis (...).

Navigate to the desired directory, and click Finish.

This exports your receiver settings to a JSON file. This allows you to restore the receiver to the pre-defined settings.

It is recommended to save this file in an easy-to-find location so you can reload it onto the receiver at any time.
