When a user opens an old job in a newer version of MAGNET Field or MAGNET Field Layout, the software will ask the user if they want to save a copy of the old job. This step-by-step video shows you how to create and open a job created in an older version.
If you cannot see the file extension, please follow the steps below. Example: The job name appears as "JobName" instead of "JobName.mjt":
- Click the start button on the keyboard.
- Search: show/hide file extensions. (You can also find this under Control Panel > File Explorer Options > Show or Hide file extensions.)
- Make sure Hide extensions for known file types is unchecked.
