Offset Line
- Press the Start Line Press Measure icon.
- Press the End Line Press Measure icon.
- Distance from end point—toggle button to change direction.
- Distance off of line—toggle button to change direction.
- Distance up or down—toggle button to change direction.
- Point number of the offset point.
- Code of the offset point.
Click the Save icon to record the calculated coordinates of the offset point.
Note: Rod height is the last-used height.
Azimuth-Distance-Height
This assumes that you have measured the selected point that will be used to define the azimuth (#4 below).
- Start Point along #4 will define the azimuth to the offset point.
- Point number for offset point.
- Code for offset point.
- Point that, along with the Start Point, creates the line of azimuth to the offset point. Must be selected via the Map or List icons.
- Vertical offset—toggle to see different options.
- Horizontal Distance along the azimuth line. Measure from #4.
- + is away from start point.
- – is toward start point.
- Click the Save icon to record the coordinates of the offset point.
2 Distance Offset
- Measure Point 1.
- Offset Distance from Point 1.
- Measure Point 2.
- Offset Distance from Point 2.
- Offset Point Number.
- Direction from the line between Points 1 and 2. Choices are
- Left of line 1-2
- Right of line 1-2
- Input the code for the Offset Point.
- Click the save icon to record the coordinates.
