Inspect
Perform a visual inspection of the aircraft. Inspect for:
⎕ Central Unit/ Top Canopy (No Cracks, Dents, Tears)
⎕ Propeller attach fittings (Fasteners, Hand-tight)
⎕ Propeller Surfaces (Clean; No Cracks, Dents,Tears)
⎕ SD Card / USB Stick (Present)
⎕ Camera / Payload (Installed)
⎕ Camera/Payload Lens Cap (Removed)
⎕ Camera Battery Pack *if required (Charged, Connected)
Preflight Checklist:
⎕ Camera / Payload Power (On)
⎕ Propulsion Intel® Powerpack™ Battery* (Charged, Connected)
⎕ Intel® Falcon™ 8+ Drone - Topcon Edition Power Switch (Press and Hold)
⎕ Intel® Cockpit GCS Antenna Panel (Inspect; Fully Extended)
⎕ Intel® Cockpit GCS Harness (Installed)
⎕ Intel® Cockpit GCS Battery Level** (Charged, Connected)
⎕ Intel® Cockpit GCS (Press and Hold)
⎕ Intel® Cockpit GCS Touchscreen Tablet (On)
⎕ Landing Gear (Inspect)
⎕ Flight Area (Clear)
⎕ Propeller Area (Clear)
⎕ Communications Link (Established)
⎕ Video Image (Present)
⎕ Loss Link Procedure (Established)
⎕ Intel® Cockpit GCS Status Display (Shows as OK)
⎕ GPS Quality (GPS Mode) (> 4 bars)
⎕ Environment (Clear; Within Operating Limits)
⎕ Motors (Check Clear/Clean; Check Pitch/Sound/Run Correctly)
*Prior to each mission, charge each Intel® Powerpack™ Battery to 100%. Replace battery if remaining charge is inadequate for planned flight time. Secure battery in aircraft in proper location with Intel label facing upward.
