Click here to download the executable.
Right-click on the download, and select Extract or Extract All to unzip.
Insert a USB thumb drive into your PC.
In File Explorer, right-click on the USB drive, and select Format.
Format to FAT32.
Copy SetupTsCommOff_vXXX.exe to the thumb drive.
Once done, eject the USB drive from the PC.
Open the latch above the battery.
Insert the USB drive into the USB port on the GT.
While holding the a and light keys, press the green power button.
The GT will boot up in Update Mode.
The program will start to run automatically, and you will see the message on the right screen.
Click Yes to deactivate TSshield.
Press OK in the upper right-hand corner.
The instrument will automatically turn on in user mode.
Turn the instrument OFF.
While holding the 7, +/-, and ENT keys, press the green power button.
The GT will boot up in Service Mode.
Turn the instrument OFF, then power on as normal.
