Topcon's extension for ArcPad®, Field Tools for ArcPad®, allows users with existing copies of ESRI's ArcPad software to take full advantage of their Topcon GPS receiver. With this extension, users can also link photographs using the GRS-1, GMS-2, or GMS-2 Pro internal camera, and store azimuth readings using the internal compass. Connect to the internal modem of a GRS-1 for DGPS or cm RTK network corrections. Use Field Tools for ArcPad to map offset points using the GMS-2 Pro internal laser distance meter. Users will have access to all of the convenient GPS Configurations in addition to their existing ArcPad functionality. This extension enables users to integrate their existing installations, customizations, and proven workflows with Topcon GIS solutions.

- Support for Windows Mobile devices including Topcon’s dual frequency handheld GRS-1
- Support for GRS-1 integrated GSM/CDMA modem for network based GIS mapping and also for real time data transfer
