Topcon's extension for ArcPad®, Field Tools for ArcPad®, allows users with existing copies of ESRI's ArcPad software to take full advantage of their Topcon GPS receiver. With this extension, users can link photographs using the GMS-2 or GMS-2 Pro internal camera, and store azimuth readings using the internal compass. Use Field Tools for Arcpad to map offset points using the GMS-2 Pro internal laser distance meter. Users will have access to all of the convenient GPS Configurations in addition to their existing ArcPad functionality. This extension enables users to integrate their existing installations, customizations, and proven workflows with Topcon GIS solutions.
ArcPad Field Tools features:
- Ready-to-go high accuracy GIS and DGPS configurations such as Real Time, Post Processing, and Network corrections
- Log raw data with real-time records for post processing
- Informative GPS status screen which displays various information for the GPS and GLONASS satellites
- Capture images using the GMS-2/GMS-2 Pro internal camera in JPEG or BMP formats
- Adjustment of various camera parameters such as image size, brightness and sharpness
- Storage of compass and tilt values as attributes
- Offset measurements using the GMS-2 Pro internal laser distance meter
- On Image Height & Width Measurements
- Barcode reading through image using the GMS-2 Pro in macro mode
