It's official: Two is better than one.

Topcon Positioning Systems' new AGS-200 land leveling machine control system provides dual-constellation control of two scrapers simultaneously.

The new system allows users to "get increased productivity that GPS technology delivers for single or dual scraper set-ups, in one easy-to-use system," said Rhett Schildroth, TPS agriculture product marketing manager.

The AGS-200 system:

  • Allows field survey and design from the cab;
  • Eliminates hand calculating;
  • Automatically calculates best fit slope, and creates cut/fill map;
  • Has the most advanced GPS technology available in the industry, and;
  • Consistent operation in inclement weather -- wind, fog or dust.

The AGS-200 system (along with the AGS-100) encompasses Topcon's AGS-C control box and AGS-T+ base transmitter. The rugged control box features a large, full-color screen display for ease of operation. Topcon's HiPer Lite+ gives the AGS-T+ transmitter a 2.5-mile radius range.

The new AgForm-3D software gives easy-to-use land leveling design capabilities in a cable-free system
