McKinnon Earthmoving works pre
dominantly in the Bendigo region, down as far as Macedon/Gisbome/ Woodend to the north-west of Melbourne, carrying out a full range of subdivisional works, both residential and industrial. Beriman, who purchased McKinnon Earthmoving - a company with a 35-year history in the Bendigo region north-west of Melbourne - about four years ago, has enthusiastically adopted new technology to drive more efficiencies, and higher profitability, in his earthmoving business. He is using remote monitoring systems. such as Komatsu's KOMTRAX, to monitor the utilization of his equipment, and to develop ways of doing more with fewer equipment items working longer hours in a day. And he's using machine control to get the highest possible productivity from his equipment.
