Aerotec

Aerotec, LLC (an airborne value-added services company) has created an electric power transmission right-of-way vegetation management application to run on Topcon's GRS-1 hand-held GPS receiver.  This joint solution for vegetation management applications allows utility foresters to identify/locate conductor/vegetation clearance violations much faster and more accurately than current methods. Aerotec uses state-of-the-art airborne remote sensing capabilities to provide engineering quality models and maps to its customers throughout North America. Topcon GIS Software Integrators are companies that sell and support software applications compatible with Topcon GIS handheld devices, offering a unique solution to the customer. Topcon GIS hardware can be purchased from an authorized GIS Distributor. Application software is procured directly from the Integrator.
